Amanda Clairday, LICSW

Hello, I’m Amanda Clairday.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and I’m truly passionate about helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing journey.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and my Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Over the past twelve years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults, children, and families in a wide range of settings, with the last six years focused specifically on providing therapy. I also bring experience in supervisory leadership and more than two decades of service to the public, which has shaped my compassionate, grounded approach to care.

I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the individual—not one-size-fits-all. I continually seek out ongoing, evidence-based training so I can offer thoughtful, effective care that reflects current best practices. Most importantly, I take time to truly listen and understand your unique experiences, goals, and needs.

I am licensed in Alabama as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker–Supervisor (LICSW-S) and am able to provide clinical supervision for licensure. I am also licensed in Tennessee as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), allowing me to serve clients in both states.

My goal is simple: to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and empowered to move toward a healthier, more balanced life—at your own pace.
