Amanda Clairday, LICSW

Hello, my name is Amanda Clairday and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, which I completed in December 2016. Prior to that, I obtained a bachelor's degree in social work from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2013. Throughout my education and career, I have gained extensive knowledge in various mental health disorders, psychotropic medications, interventions, and therapies. I continuously strive to further my education and knowledge base with up to date evidence based trainings and networking. I have twelve years of social work experience working with adults, children, and families along with five years of providing therapy. Additionally, I have three years of supervisory leadership experience and a total of twenty-one years of experience in providing services to the public.

I am licensed by the state of Alabama board of Social Worker Examiners as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LICSW-S) and can provide supervision for licensure. I am also licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
